Musbahu Abdulkadir Yahaya was born on 6 May 1983 in Gadon Kaya, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State, Nigeria. He is a devoted family man, married with one wife and blessed with four children.

His early educational journey began in 1989 at a Tsangaya school, where he laid the foundation of his Islamic education. In 1990, he proceeded to an Islamiyya school while also attending Muhammad Mai Gadon Kaya Primary School, completing his primary education in 1995. He continued his academic pursuit at Sabuwar Kofar Junior Secondary School, graduating in 1998, and later attended Dawakin Tofa Science College, where he completed his secondary education in 2004.

Musbahu’s entrepreneurial journey began early in life. In 1998, while still in school, he ventured into fabrics and leather trading at the well-known Kwari Market in Kano. Through resilience, discipline, and strategic partnerships, he expanded his experience in commerce before developing a strong interest in construction and real estate.

In May 2020, he officially established his business venture, M.A.Y General Merchant & Entrepreneurship, which reflects his passion for trade, development, and economic empowerment. Building on his commitment to social impact, he founded the M.A.Y Foundation in 2024.

The M.A.Y Foundation has since become a growing platform for youth empowerment and community development. To date, it has trained over 10,000 young men and women, equipping them with financial support, professional certifications, and business opportunities. More than 3,000 beneficiaries have successfully established and sustained their own businesses across Kano State and neighboring regions.

Driven by a strong vision for societal transformation, the foundation is committed to empowering youths across Northern Nigeria, promoting self-reliance, and reducing unemployment. It also focuses on supporting orphans and vulnerable individuals by improving access to education, shelter, and livelihood opportunities.

Musbahu Abdulkadir Yahaya continues to dedicate his efforts to building a future where young people are empowered to become self-sufficient and contribute meaningfully to society.
